The purpose of the Mariner United Methodist Men is to be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek His will daily. We believe that a man’s service to God and the church should come first and foremost as a disciple of Christ. This is a very active group. They sponsor a luncheon the second Tuesday of each month where the men are encouraged to participate in prayer, worship, fellowship, stewardship and regular study of the Scriptures. Fundraising activities include dinners, a food booth at the yard sales, newspaper recycling box and more.

The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ– to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Our very active group meets on the first Monday of each month, except July and August, at 10:30 A.M. (unless otherwise announced). The meetings have a program including a guest speaker and light luncheon. Special programs include a Mission Study with six other churches in the area and an annual fund raising Fashion Show and Luncheon. On United Methodist Women’s Sunday, the Worship Service is lead by our women. This is when they award “Special Recognition Pins” to those who have gone beyond in their service.
