Projects and Activities
Yard Sales
Three yard sales are held annually in November, January and April. A hard working group of Mariner volunteers collect donations for the sale on Tuesday and Thursday mornings throughout the year (except in the summer). They will also arrange for pick up of household and large items. These fundraisers support the work of our church.
Food Pantry
The Food Pantry, manned by volunteers, is open every Monday and Thursday from 9 A.M. – 1 P.M. Any persons in the community needing help feeding their family is welcome. Our Mariner family contributes generously with both food and money used to purchase food in bulk quantities to keep the pantry stocked.
Craft Group
Meets together on Tuesday from 10 A.M. – 1 P.M. You can choose to work on a craft already in progress or bring one of your own. This group, through their craft fairs raise money for missions including Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, Food Pantry, Hospice, and more.

Back-packs for students returning to school Christmas Angels to assist families needing help with Christmas gifts for children Ditty Bags (Little Bags of Hope) with toiletries for the local women’s shelter Blanket Sunday – collecting blankets for the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home.
