Profession of Faith and Baptism
If you are not now a baptized Christian, the Pastor will be happy to discuss the meaning of the Sacrament with you.

By Transfer from Another United Methodist Church
Mark the Friendship Pad or Visitor Card “Wish to Join” column or call the church office. The Pastor will contact you.

By Transfer from Another Christian Denomination
Mark the Friendship Pad or Visitor Card “Wish to Join” column or call the church office. The Pastor will contact you. You will be asked to take one vow taken by all members of the United Methodist Church: “Will you be loyal to the United Methodist Church and uphold it by your prayers, your presence, your gifts and your service?”

We believe that Christ calls us to be disciples, followers. A way to be a disciple is to become a member of the Mariner United Methodist Church family. You may do this in one of several ways.

If you are interested in learning more about membership*, you are invited to meet at the church from 9:30 A.M. to 10:15 A.M. on the second Sunday of each month.

Membership Sunday is the fourth Sunday of each month.*

We hope you will become a full member. However, if you are a United Methodist whose membership is in another city or state and you wish to retain that membership in your “home” church, you can become an Affiliate Member of Mariner. This grants you pastoral oversight, fellowship and full participation (including the holding of church offices, but no vote on Administrative Council) at Mariner. Members of other Christian denominations may elect to become Associate Members under the same conditions.
